The purpose of the project is to revive the Cascina Casottello , an old abandoned building with the characteristics of the rural village, by implementing a system of activities that supports the community life. Therefore, from an architectural point of view, the intervention, as provided for in the brief, will consist of adapting and upgrading the installations, restoring the deteriorated parts of the building, and restyling the interiors and exteriors.

The design aim is to open the space of the courtyard towards the outside and to restore these places to the citizens, so in order to highlight the restoration of the Cascina the facade on the street will be the subject of an intervention aimed at giving a new identity to the whole Cascina. It will be a graphic installation that can be realized by an artist that will involve local entities that will join in the creation of a mural.
