AREA 49

AREA49 was created following the encounter of 4 architects who combined their previous experience and career to create a new multidisciplinary working studio. 
Inside a building in Milan, where the concept of community is strong, the group AREA49 was established.

Davide Camera and Ilaria Camera from the architecture firm Camera&Partners, together with Marilena Magalotti, founder of Studio Map, and Giacomo Penco, partner of Proginvest srl, an architecture and engineering company, joined their teams to create a new reality: AREA49.

Strengthened by their diversity and years of experience, AREA49 will deal with architectural projects carried out at all expertise levels of residential, commercial, industrial and urban regeneration and recovery while merging their specific knowledge for each component.

AREA49 strives for a concept that combines functionality, aesthetics and research. 
The attention to the customer's needs is realized through the enhancement of the economic resources available, enhancing the potential of the project. The development of details, combined with a continuous formal, stylistic and modern research, applied both in the use of materials and in the design approach, favours the development of our simple and innovative projects. 

Using design as a field of experimentation, implementing the concepts of redevelopment, reconversion and sustainable constructions are fundamental aspects of Area 49.  

Each project is entirely managed integrating and coordinating the different expert disciplines. 
The design process is developed in all its phases; ideation, authorization and execution, advertising, ensuring the client a complete, comprehensive service, due to the contribution and experience of the skills of the different partners of the group.
