Davide Camera

Davide Camera was born in Milan and graduated in Architecture from the university of Politecnico di Milano in 1999. 

In 2000 he joined the studio Camera-Piva-Pozzoli and worked on the development of residential, offices and industrial renovation construction projects in the north of Italy.
In 2003, along with his father, he founded Camera & Partners, an architectural and urban design studio founded in Milan, the initial  headquarters was in Porta Venezia and as of 2008 he relocated the studio to the current premises in Lambrate. 
In 2003 he handled several projects such as the expansion of the Tamoil House in Milan; during the same year he was collaborating as  the local architect with Chipperfield for the Pasquale Bruni boutique in via della Spiga in Milan. 

Since 2004, he has been designing and overseeing the construction of several new residential buildings in collaboration with the architect Lorenzo Astulfoni and arch. Marilena Magalotti in Milan, such as: 

  • the residential building in Viale Certosa corner Marcantonio dal Re (2008) 

  • the building for mixed services and craft workshops in via Montecuccoli 36 (2009)

  • the residential complex in via Muratori 9 (2010) 

  • the residential complex in via Rovigno 13/15 (2017) 

Between 2006 and 2011 he devoted himself to the design and construction supervision of new industrial projects in the province of Lodi for Co.RES. Costruzioni Industriali (PL) and in the province of Como for ETRO SpA (PA) and LEMA SpA. In 2007 he was the local architect for the Swiss architectural firm Meili Peter Architekten overseeing the design of the new Milan headquarters of Helvetia Assicurazioni SpA. 
From 2006 to 2012 he supervised the urban-building transformation of the Maciachini Center for the Europa Risorse Group as a local architect for the Sauerbruch-Hutton architects. 
Over the last few years he has worked on the transformation of industrial sites through implementation plans such Via Ghilini (PII) and Ex Hensemberger (PA) both situated in Monza.
From 2006 to 2012, he managed the properties of the Moratti GianMarco family; the Cigognola Castle (PV) and their personal residence in Milan.

Other activities include carrying out Due Diligence audits for major groups such as Techint SpA, Richemont Italia Holding SpA, ETRO SpA, ERGO Assicurazioni SpA and Litorama SpA.
From 2006 to 2011 he was a member of the commision of Urban Planning council, Zone 3 of the Milan municipality.

In 2020, together with his sister Ilaria Camera, Arch. Marilena Magalotti and Arch. Giacomo Penco, he founded AREA49 studio in Via Bistolfi 49.
