Ilaria Camera

Ilaria Camera was born in Milan and graduated in Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano in 2010. She participated n the Erasmus program in 2009 at the Leibniz Universitat in Hanover and acquired the knowledge of three languages (English-Spanish-German).

In 2010 she joined the family firm Camera&Partners, and mainly worked on residential projects of renovation and new construction, such as the new residences project in Via Rovigno in Milan, the renovation of the Castel of Cigognola of the Moratti GianMarco family, and other architectural and interior design works mainly located in the Milan area, such as the Champagneria El Buscia and several apartments renovations for private clients. 

In January 2014, she decided to embark on a new experience at the international studio of Arch. Andrea Caputo, an experience that lasted up to 2019. During this time, she specialized in architectural and interior design along with project management as the architecture firm handles also General Contractor activities. Ilaria completed several projects such as the "Cartex Headquarter" offices in Hong Kong, several fashion stores in Europe such as "Carhartt Wip Stores", reconversions of industrial areas in showrooms in Milan such as "Spazio Maiocchi", fittings and installations for important fairs such as Pitti. 

In 2020 together with her brother Davide Camera, Arch. Marilena Magalotti and Arch. Giacomo Penco, she founded studio AREA49 in Via Bistolfi.
