Remanding of natural elements with the shape of the buildings, we could create an intense experience extending the thrill of visiting this place even in open spaces, characterized by large squares and small paths, with a system similar to the one used by Romans for the old Istanbul city centre (Fori).

This volume also recalls a breakdown tectonics, which recalls the natural environment. The project aims to develop the theme of competition by locating the space of the auditorium, the library, and offices exhibition directly in relation with the urban fabric. This front has to be the most public, and it is characterized by a long shed that connects different volumes to each other. The project area will be used not only by Disaster Prevention and Education Centre visitors but it will be open to everyone. To enhance the public nature of the intervention we enriched the design with vast areas to stop, talk and relax, infact half the surface of the plot has been converted to green area.

Thanks to these features, the building aspires to become a real landmark and a key point for the future of Istanbul development.
