The industrial architecture taken as a basis of distinction is the connecting thread between the past and the future, just as cement and brick are the traditional material, "the mass"; the lightness and transparency of polycarbonate become the symbol of the new iconographic material of the factory of the future, allowing also to unify the whole industrial complex. Hence the desire to clean up the original building by bringing it back to its skeleton and to superimpose new volumes on the heavy mass, light, ephemeral but resistant and performing.

In this way the new technical volumes and added warehouses become part of the landscape because they are treated as a reflective, translucent surface and the mass of the factory with the shed roof emerges from the ground.
The transparent factory thus becomes an alternation of heavy and light volumes, of traditional and contemporary geometries, where the matrix becomes a "Greek" declined in the different volumes. The office building emerges enhancing this contrast that is expressed in the façade with a three-dimensional movement of panels in translucent grey polycarbonate.
