Monte Nero Apartment

What: Apartment renovation
Who: Private client
Where: Milan - Italy
When: 2016
AREA: 65 sq. m
AREA49: Davide Camera | Camera&Partners

The project consists in the renovation of an apartment in a historic building in the center of Milan. The aim of the project was to create a large living area directly connected to the kitchen, thus creating a single environment made fascinating by the presence of two passages under two arches that were formed by the demolition of the existing wall, thus bringing to light the original skeleton of the building.
Just as the walls were restored to the exposed brick painted white, the ceilings were also left exposed to the original structure of the attic, with wooden beams always painted white. To divide the living area from the sleeping area there is the volume of the bathroom that is grafted with a pure and contemporary style with a window that opens directly onto the bedroom.
A project that combines the contemporary look of volumes and colours with the skeleton of the building and both classic and modern furnishings.
