The proposed project is presented as a portal whose section grows modularly to accommodate the required functional programs. The portal structure covers the entire dock forming a single enveloping space capable of accommodating waiting areas, trains, closed volumes and crossing systems. The choice of a unique structure that overpasses the tracks makes the station at the same time a shelter, canopy, overpass, boundary and fence, but also a large signage totem, inserted in the territory.

A double enclosure with different degrees of permeability covers the structure with portals and at the end of the platform folds inwards forming sheltered paths for stopping the point where the contact with the outside is immediate, but filtered. The whole station is therefore conceived as a single external/internal space where the functional spaces, necessarily closed, are independent and lower elements that preserve the unity and width of the space.

From the simple stop to the multi-track station, the section of the portal structure grows modularly according to the different functional programs: in this way a single intervention logic is adopted, reducing the components and standardizing the component elements.
